ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AT DAV CHANDRASEKHARPUR

Students can motivate and influence their parents as well as the members of the society with their keen involvement in road safety awareness campaign, opined former Chief Secretary Bijay Patnaik at a mega road safety awareness campaign held at the DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur on Tuesday.

State Transport Commissioner Sanjib Panda highlighted the latest traffic rules and regulations for the students as well as the public and school Principal Dr KC Satapathy emphasised on the awareness of students community for the successful implementation of the programme.

Social activist Shir Maqbool Ali also spoke in the programme in which more than 2,000 students of the school and neighbouring schools attended. Special music programme and skit shows based on road safety were presented.

School coordinator Indira Bhattacharya, transport manager Manoj Garnaik supervised the programme and teacher Laxmidhar Routray anchored.
